Southern Bell

Lana Del Rey, is fast becoming a style icon with her patriotic attire. She also mixes different era's, something I am a huge fan of.

I love the 70's look she has, mixed with the the late 40s early 50's movie star hair. she pulls off the high waisted shorts perfectly, and the embellished shirts and tops. 

I've recently purchase a retro denim shirt, with embroidery and embellishment on both breast shoulders and yoke and I love how it verges on tacky. 

I was trying to find out where I found the inspiration to purchase it when I realised it was Lana Del Rey. 

So my next purchase shall be some high waisted shorts! I'm feeling the double denim this summer calling me.
